Most front ends require a third party command line application (which is detected at runtime). For example, the Download Front End requires the wget program.

Called by Endeavour whenever a URL with a http:// or ftp:// prefix is dragged on to Endeavour's file browser or image browser, the Download Front End uses wget to download the specified URL while displaying a graphical progress dialog.

You can set the Download Front End program's location by going to Settings->Options->Programs.

You can also run this program without arguments to prompt the user for a url to download.
